Gust began his journey in 2007 within the Sempre environment alongside his uncle Gommaire Cleybergh, later taking on a leading role in the development and international growth of the brand. Over the years, he was closely involved in shaping its creative direction, contributing to its evolution into what became known as Sempre.life.
During this period, he contributed to and directed more than 50 major international trade shows, from Tokyo and Singapore to Miami, High Point, and Maison & Objet in Paris, and was involved in projects across Europe, Africa, Asia, Russia, and the United States.
His experience across international wholesale, retail, and F&B sectors became a defining strength — not only in design, but in understanding market positioning, scaling, pricing structures, and brand identity across industries. This global exposure allows him to support brands beyond aesthetics alone.
In 2017, he initiated Sempre.moscow, a restaurant and spatial concept recognized within the industry for its immersive approach to design.
Following the events of 2023, he chose to step away from his previous activities in Belgium to refocus on the origin of creation: production itself. After years of designing within broader organizational structures, he shifted toward a more direct and integrated model.
With Hamesha Studio, he develops an independent ecosystem where design and manufacturing come together — where raw materials enter, and finished products leave. No intermediaries. No abstraction. Directly at the source.
Today, he works at the base of creation, surrounded by wood, stone, glass, metal, and texture, transforming material into atmosphere.
His design language can be described as minimalist brutalism, rooted in minimalism, arte povera, wabi-sabi, and ubuntu. His work honors raw materials in their purest form, emphasizing texture, structural honesty, and natural integrity.
For Gust, design is not decoration.
It is experience.
It is the moment you enter a space and feel its aura.
